Before you start
- The Fusion URL you normally sign in with, for example https://xxxx.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/fscmUI/faces/FuseWelcome
- A Fusion username and password that can use BI Publisher
- A recent version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox
- 1
Create your account
Open Fusion SQL and sign up with a username, email and password. This account is only for Fusion SQL — it is not your Fusion account.
Start for free - 2
Add a Fusion connection
Click Connections at the top, then New connection. Paste your Fusion URL, enter the Fusion user name and password, choose the environment (DEV, TEST or PROD) and click Test connection. Tick "Save password" if you want it stored encrypted on the server.
- 3
One-time setup per environment
On the first query against a new environment, Fusion SQL creates a data model in /Custom/FusionSQLTool. This needs a user with BI Author or BI Administrator rights once — after that, colleagues can query directly.
- 4
Run your first query
Type the query below and press Ctrl + Enter (⌘ + Enter on Mac). Results appear in the grid; use CSV or Excel to export them.
select lookup_type, lookup_code, meaning, enabled_flag from fnd_lookup_values where lookup_type = 'YES_NO' and language = 'US'
💡 Tips
- Select only the columns you need — it is much faster than select *.
- Description columns usually live in the _TL tables, for example EGP_SYSTEM_ITEMS_TL.
- If the object browser is empty, run any query first (for example select sysdate from dual); the table list loads in the background.
